Faridabad/Alive News: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal will tomorrow visit Faridabad to inaugurate two water supply projects of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority(FMDA) and dedicate them to the public of Faridabad. He will also lay the foundation stones for the development work and beautification of Dussehra Ground and special road repair work from AnkhirChowk to Delhi Border.
“These projects of FMDA will enable city residents to have access to augmented water supply as well as provide better road and social infrastructure to them. FMDA is undertaking various projects in this direction for the upliftment of Faridabad city,” said Shri Sudhir Rajpal, Chief Executive Officer, FMDA.
Two boosting stations of FMDA will be inaugurated by Manohar Lal on Sunday wherein FMDA has increased 60 MLD water supply per day by starting the Renney Wells taken over from HSVP. The boosting station at Fish Market in Sector 22, NIT Faridabad in Ballabhgarh Constituency will now provide an additional supply of 40 lakh liters of clean drinking water to the residents of Sanjay Colony, East India Colony, Sector 22 and 23. Additionally, the boosting station in Village Lakkarpur, Shiv DurgaVihar in Badkhal Constituency will provide 20 lakh liters of water per day which will offer much respite to the residents of Shiv DurgaVihar Colony, Village Lakkarpur.
