DAV N.I.T. NH-3 celebrated Diwali and special assembly was conducted by the students. Beautifully decorated diyas, candles and toran added charm and religious fervor to the atmosphere. The function was celebrated with religious zeal. Singing of Prayer and Shlok ’ was followed by poem , speech and dances. All of them carried one or the other message.
The program began with the speech by Ananya of class II who emphasized on ‘No Crackers’ this Diwali. Students of LKG gave a performace on “Happy Diwali”song. Hiteshi presented a very beautiful thought followed by the poem recited by Meenakshi of class IX .Speech was presented by Tanya and Bhuvaneswari in which they told the students about ill- effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them . Samridhi of class IV showcased the spirit of Diwali through a mesmerizing dance performance. Another dance performance of Class UKG filled the essence of joy and happiness. Seeya of class VIII presented news headlines to make the students aware of day to day happening around them. Dance performance of Chhavi of class II and Ramabha of class VII filled the atmosphere of school with vigour and enthusiasm. The entire Kindergarten was dressed up in colourful attire.
The function was concluded with a message by the Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya who wished the students and applauded their efforts with her motivational speech and wished everyone a very happy and prosperous Diwali.
