Faridabad/ Alive News: World Day against Child Labour Day was celebrated by District Child Welfare Council at Open shelter Home, Faridabad on June 13 here today. During this, Kushminder Yadav, the District Child Welfare Council officer and Suman, Project Coordinator of Open Shelter Home made aware to the children about child labour.
Kushminder Yadav addressing the children said child labour is a punishable offence and every child should stay away from it and go to school. About 40 children of Open Shelter Home as well as their parents participated in the programme. A team was also joined by the district Child Protection Officer in the programme, who taught to the children about child labour. The team told that the child who contained an age of 0-14 should not do labour work.
Similarly, the project coordinator, Suman told that World Day against Child Labour Day programme will continue at the Open shelter Home for 15 days, by which awareness could be brought in children. During this, Mukesh Yadav, Archana Singh and Virendri etc. were present there.
