BAMS students arrested with Heroin worth Rs 2.5 Cr

Karnal/ Alive News: Karnal Police got success to nab 4 BAMS students with heroin, 452 grams worth Rs 2.5 core today. The accused while accepting their crime have told that they work as smugglers and brought it from Madhya Pradesh.

The Police CIA-2 team comprising Inspector Jaspal Dhillon, SIs Balbir Singh and Rakesh Kumar, ASIs Salinder Kumar and Singhraj, head constables Ravinder Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Bhainder Singh on a tip-off managed to apprehend the accused and recovered heroin from their possession. The accused replying to the police told that they work as smugglers and had to supply heroin in Kurukshetra, Shahbad, Ambala and Punjab’s areas after bringing it from Madhya Prades.

SP Jagdish Singh Randhawa talking to mediapersons said his CIA-2 team after forming Naka (barrier) near New Anaj Mandi, GT road arrested the four accused, who were in a dzire car which was without number plate. He said two accused out them are BAMS final year students from Rohtak Medical College.
