Adventure camp organized at DAV school NH-3

Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, NH-3, NIT organized a fun day ‘ADVENTURE CAMP’ in association with Camp ‘247 ADVENTURE’ for students of classes Nur. To Vth on December 13, 2024 in the school premises.

The school Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya released the bunch of balloons along with the supervisors Mukta puri & Rekha Rawat to began the camp. Plethora of activities was the attraction of this special day in nature trails, scaling the Rock walls, Archery, Rappelling, Bungee jumping, Commando Net, Burma Bridge, Flying Fox, Balancing beam, Shooting, Trampoline, etc. filled the students and other participants with excitement and anticipation.

The school field was totally transformed into an alluring adventure camp. The school lawns were dotted with colorful tents.

On arrival, the students were welcomed by the hospitable staff of the camps. The instructors demonstrated how each equipment was to be tackled. All the students seemed determined to master the myriad little challenges. Both the boys and the girls displayed equal zeal. They were divided into groups to allow maximum participation.

The activities were well planned. Excitement could be easily spotted on the students’ faces while indulging in the activities. Various skills like leadership, decision making, managing fear and team work were addressed to them by professional and experienced instructors.

Expressing her views, Jyoti Dahyia, Principal of the School said, “Camps give children the adequate playtime that they require. Playtime not only offers children the tools to entertain themselves but also builds friendship and social skills. Children learn to set their own boundaries, interact with one another, determined to be actively involved in activities as a team.

Our children enjoyed the beautiful moments with their peers as could be seen in the smiles, laughter, positivity, and happiness that marked the vibrant atmosphere of the camp.” Overall, it was a joyful and memorable day for the students that they will cherish for a lifetime.
