Faridabad/Alive News : Dussehra festival was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the premises of DAV School, NIT-3. During this a special meeting was organized in the school, in which the students explained the importance of this festival and the method of celebrating it.
The program started with a speech given by Trisha of Class-II (A).
This was followed by a scintillating dance performance by the students of class III. The students told about the origin of Goddess Durga and based on the killing of Mahishasura. While student Rakshit presented a speech on a poem Ramayana.
Cultural program was organized in the school premises. Samridhi, a student of class V, presented a solo dance on “Ram Stuti”. After this, the students of class LKG to class II presented a group dance drama (Nartiya Natika). In it he performed episodes from the stories of Ramayana.
Jyoti Dahiya, Principal of DAV School imbibed the message of the students that good always triumphs over evil and wished the children a bright future.
