Mitra Mandal celebrates Sri Gangaur festival

Ballabgarh: To make people aware about the regional culture, Mitra Mandal organization celebrated a Sri Gangaur festival in Sector-3 here today, in which several male, female and children eagerly participated, while a procession was also taken out on this eve.
Mainly purpose of this festival is to worship of Parvati Maa. Actually, in ancient times, Parvati kept fast and penance to get Lord Shiva as husband and then Lord Shiva was pleased with her austerity and called for seeking bless. Parvati expressed her greed to find him her husband, her wish had fulfilled and she had marry with him, from the same day virgin girls worship of Lord Shiva to get desired bridesmaid and married women pray for her husbands long life. On this occasion, president of the institution, Pawan Surajgadiya told the fair is being held by the institution for almost 35 years, and is motive of this festival to aware our society about the culture. He said a procession was also taken out in entire sector-3.
During this, Vimal Surajgadiya, Sravan Rinava, Vimal Khandelwal, Madhusudan Matoliya, Satya Prakash Sharma, Yogesh and several other made the procession success.
