Faridabad/ Alive News: The ongoing smog in Delhi-NCR is putting tremendous influence on people’s health. Thereby, people are suffering from respiratory problems, eye irritation and those having asthma and lung disease are prone to develop infections and breathing problems. Long term effects of smog for many days can cause even deficiency of vit-D and even congenital deformities.
This information while sharing with the Alive News correspondent, Dr Suresh Arora, President IMA Faridabad said.
Dr Suresh Arora advised that the children whose lungs are in the developing stage should not be exposed to smog to avoid the damage. Dr Arora said Primary schools may be kept closed. They should not be allowed any outdoor activities and all those activities which require more oxygen. Early morning walk should be avoided. Private vehicles should be used minimum to help less formation of smog. Use public transport. Masks may be used by vulnerable people.
