Faridabad/ Alive News: The Municipal Corporation Faridabad Commissioner Sonal Goyal called an urgent meeting of officers of engineering unit over shortage of water in the city. The commissioner asked situation of water in the current in the meeting and then they (the officers) were instructed to deliver water in those areas where’s shortage of water. Actually, people are constantly protesting over shortage of water last few days. People of Rajiv colony had blocked Hardware Chowk over water problem on Sunday and then they also protested out side of the corporation headquarters on Monday.
The colony’s people said only one tubewel had been installed in their area but that is also nonfunctional. In thus situation they have to go a long way to take water. Similarly, people of Shramik Vihar had blocked the bypass road. People of Sant Nagar also had complained over water problem. Therefore, the corporation commissioner taking seriously of the issue had called a meeting of officers of engineering unit. Problem of shortage water is being tried to completely resolve. An order has been given to repair nonfunctional tubewells. Apart from this, tankers will be used to deliver water.
