Faridabad/ Alive News: An orientation programme was organized for the parents of new admissions at DAV Public School, Ballabhgarh on Wednesday April 26, 2017. The aim was to familiarize the parents as “partners in progress” with the curriculum, teaching methodologies, rules and regulations of the school. During this, coordinator, Vandana Chowdhary gave guidelines about effective parenting. She also suggested different measures to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. She further said a Parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.
Talk on Phonetics, Parent involvement session by the school counselor and informative session on ‘Flu’ by Dr Supriya Rastogi from QRG Health City was well received by the audience. Overall it was a fruitful meeting and the parents were in high spirits after attending the orientation programme.
