Grandparents’ Day Celebrated with Joy at DAV Gian Prakash Chopra School

Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School, Sector 49, Faridabad, celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great enthusiasm in the school auditorium. The event was full of smiles, excitement, and love as young students expressed their affection and gratitude towards their grandparents.

The celebration began with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, following the Vedic tradition. Beautiful cultural performances by the Kindergarten students set a joyful tone for the day.

The programme was smoothly conducted by the teacher anchor. Students from the Kindergarten Wing recited poems and gave speeches dedicated to their grandparents. The Welcome Dance and the performance on the song ‘Aaj Kal Tere Mere’ by Nursery B and LKG C students mesmerized the audience. Dances on ‘Dadi Amma’ by LKG C and ‘Hey Shubharambh’ by Nursery A also won everyone’s hearts.

School Principal Mr. Rajan Gautam addressed the gathering, encouraging grandparents to continue supporting and motivating their grandchildren in every way possible.

A special highlight of the event was the “All Musical Ramayana” performance by UKG students, where they beautifully portrayed characters from the Ramayana. The grandparents were delighted to see the blend of tradition and talent on stage.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, followed by Shanti Path and the National Anthem. The day ended with wonderful memories and smiling faces, making it a truly special celebration for both students and grandparents.
