Faridabad/Alive News: Manav Sanskar Public School celebrated the 79th Independence Day along with the festive occasion of Janmashtami on 15th August 2025. The school campus was beautifully decorated with tricolour flags, flowers, and colourful Janmashtami designs, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The event began with a flag hoisting ceremony, led by the Chief Guest, Mr. Ram Kumar, along with other distinguished guests including Mr. J.P. Sharma, PT. Lalchand Sharma, Raju Sharma, Ms. Sarla Singh, Ms. Madhu Singh, Ms. Vibha, Ms. Nirmala Sharma, Mr. Mohanlal Sharma, Mr. Shravan Kumar Sharma, Director Mr. Yogesh Sharma, Principal Dr. Kaumudi Bhardwaj, and Reena Mishra, along with all the school staff. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
The celebration began with dance performances by the tiny tots of class 1. The audience was captivated by a mesmerizing dance by the students of class 4. The little ones filled the event with energy and enthusiasm. The performances continued with group dances and skits by the House teams. The Red House presented a dance and skit showing scenes from Lord Krishna’s childhood. The Yellow House performed a powerful dance on the Bhagavad Gita, while the Green House students sang a patriotic medley of songs. The Blue House put up an emotional performance symbolizing the Operation Sindoor.
These performances were prepared under the guidance of teachers Priya Nautiyal, Jaimala, Goldie, and others.
The Chief Guest praised the school for fostering both patriotism and cultural values in the students and encouraged them to work for the progress of the nation.
Principal Dr. Kaumudi Bhardwaj spoke about the importance of independence and the teachings of Lord Krishna, urging students to live by values and responsibilities. Director Mr. Yogesh Sharma also motivated the students, reminding them of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the importance of preserving our traditions.
The highlight of the event was the special dance performances by all four school houses.
The celebration ended with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets. The day not only strengthened the students’ patriotic spirit but also deepened their connection to Indian culture, making it a memorable event for everyone.
