Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School was celebrated Dussehra on Thursday with religious spirit and devotion. The school wore a festive look. A special assembly was conducted whereby the Students came dressed up as various characters from the Ramayana.
The program began with the thought given by Shivanshika of class-II(B) followed by a speech delivered by Bhumi of II (A) highlighting on the importance of this day. Shining star Priyank of class- I(A) presented few lines Durga Puja.
Cultural programmes were held in the school premises. Little star Dhruvi of class I(A) presented a solo dance on “Durga ashtami”. Then, the little stars of classes I & II performed a dance play (RAM KATHA)in which they showcased the episode from the tales of the Ramayana. It was the main source of attraction & was the best part of the day.
They brought to life scenes from Lord Ram’s childhood, his wedding, his years of exile, the abduction of Sita, and at last the slaying of Ravan. Everyone around enjoyed the serene atmosphere created by the chanting of Chaupai. At the end the school Principal Jyoti Dahiya appreciated everyone for presenting a wonderful programme and showered her blessings.
