Students paid floral tributes Jagadish Chandra Bose

Faridabad/Alive News: JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, remembered the great Indian scientist Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose on his death anniversary and paid tribute to him. JC Bose was the pioneer of modern science in India and the father of wireless communication.

Faculty members and students of the university today paid floral tributes to Jagadish Chandra Bose and laid wreath at his statue. In his message on this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar said that JC Bose was far ahead of his time. He said, he left a rich and diverse legacy not only as the founding father of experimental science in India, but also as a botanist, biologist and thinker. Pro. Tomar said that the life of Acharya Bose should be a role model for young researchers and they should learn from the life and works of the great Indian scientist. The program was organized by the Dean Student Welfare Office.

Teachers, staff and students of the university also gathered at the statue of JC Bose in the university and paid floral tributes to the great Indian scientist on his death anniversary. On this occasion, Dean Student Welfare Prof. Munish Vashishtha, Director (Youth and Culture Affairs) Prof. Pradeep Dimri, Prof. Neelam Turk, Dr. Shilpa Sethi and Dr. Anurag Prakash Sunda were also present.It is noteworthy that the university was named after this great scientist in the year 2018 by the state government in recognition of his achievements in the field of modern science.
