Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School NH-3 celebrated its investiture ceremony for the academic session 2023-2024 with great pomp and dignity. The chief guest for the event was Devender Singh Gulia, the District Sports Officer Faridabad alongwith Deepak Ahlawat (Archery Coach at Sports complex Faridabad.
The event commenced with the lamp lightening and the welcoming of the guests. After that a group song was sung by the students of class IX and XI followed by a dance performance by Samrithi of class VI. Abhiraj of class X delivered a speech and Swapanjeet of class X sang a melodious song to grace the occasion.
The members of the newly formed student council, which comprised of Head boy Mridul and Head girl Jigyasa with sports captains, house captains, vice-captains and prefects, were then conferred with badges by the chief guest. The Head boy, the Head girl and newly elected council members and prefects marched spritely to receive their badges.
The school Principal Jyoti Dahiya congratulated the newly elected council members. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility which enables them to achieve great heights. The chief guest congratulated the council members and told them to be impartial and honest in leadership and discipline.The ceremony concluded with the Shanti path.
