Faridabad/Alive News : Dr. Meha Sharma, Deputy Registrar, has been given the additional charge of Registrar of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. She succeeded Dr. Sunil Kumar Garg who completed his term on August 14, 2023 after attaining the age of superannuation.
An office order to this effect has been issued by the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat. Dr. Meha Sharma today assumed office in the presence of Dean (Institution) Prof. Sandeep Grover. Advisor to Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pawan Singh, Prof. Poonam Singhal, Deputy Registrar Sh. Manish Gupta, Workshop Superintendent Dr. Vivek Sharma, Assistant Registrar Sh. Vishal Kumar, Assistant Law Officer Mrs. Renu Dagar were also present on this occasion.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar has congratulated Dr. Sharma on new assignment and extended best wishes for her future endeavours. Dr. Meha Sharma has expressed her gratitude towards Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar for entrusting her with the prestigious responsibility of Registrar, the key administrative position in the university.
Coming from an engineering background, Dr. Sharma has over 18 year of experience in teaching, research and administration. She holds a PhD Degree in Electronics from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan. She has previously served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication at Ansal University, Gurgaon. Her academic journey has been marked by numerous accomplishments, including a Gold Medal in B.Tech (Electronics and Communication) and an M.Tech. (Signal Processing) from M.D.U.
Dr. Sharma’s teaching interests span a diverse range of subjects, encompassing Microprocessor Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Signals and Systems, VHDL, and Nanotechnology. Her research pursuits have been equally impactful, with a focus on areas such as Quantum Well Lasers and Lasing Nano Hetero-Structures. Her contributions have resulted in the publication of 25 research papers in esteemed national and international journals, along with participation in IEEE International Conferences. Dr. Sharma has also mentored PhD scholars and supervised nearly 15 IoT-based undergraduate projects in Engineering.
