JC Bose extended the last date for admission

Faridabad/Alive News : Giving a major relief to the students, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has decided to extend the last date for filling the online application form for various UG and PG courses (except B.Tech) upto 3 July 2023. The decision to this effect has been taken keeping in view the larger interest of the students. However, there will be no change in the schedule of the entrance examination issued by the University for PG courses.

Dean (Academic Affairs) Prof. Ashutosh Dixit apprised that the admission offerings for the session 2023-24, encompass more than 60 courses, including Certificate, Diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs. This year, the University has introduced three and four-year undergraduate degree programs, aligned with the provisions of NEP-2020, allowing students to opt for a minor degree program along with the major discipline and the flexibility of Multiple Entry and Exit options. Also, the University has introduced some new courses e.g. B.Sc. (Visual Communication and Multimedia Technology), PG Diploma in waste management and UG certificate course in Applied Mechanics and Manufacturing Engineering from the upcoming session.

He clarified that admission to all B.Tech courses will be done only through online counselling conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) and its schedule will be available at the HSTES website: www.hstes.org.in. However, admission to all UG courses related to Science, Management, Arts and all PG courses will be done at the University level. The admission to UG courses will be made on the basis of the merit of the last qualifying examination whereas at PG Level, the University will conduct an entrance exam.

The University has also launched an admission helpline number 7428954273 and e-mail admissionhelp@jcboseust.ac.in for inquiries related to admissions.
