Faridabad/Alive News : DAV Public School, Sector-49, held Alumni Meet on Saturday, 20 May in the school premises with enthusiasm and excitement. The Meet endeavored to prolate as u,ell as encourage fruitful and cordial relations with the pass out students. The school campus was beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers.
The teachers welcomed the students with tilak and beautiful wrist bands. Following the Vedic tradition. the prograntnte started Reith rertditiorr of Gal atri Mantra followed by the lighting of lamp. An array of cultural performances nerve pertbrmed including a group song – Deva Shri Ganesha, patriotic group dance, Bharatanatyam, a skit and a dance presentation on the Hindi version of the Oscar winning song ‘Naatu-Naatu.’
A Por’verPoint presentation on the uremories of thc allrrrrni cltrring thc school time was also showcased to the audience. The alunuri enjoyed playing lun ganres and capturing pictures at the selfie point. They also shared their experiences after bidding adieu to the school life and how their alma mater helped them becorne independent thinkers and responsible citizens.The Meet was broadcasted live on Facebook and YouTube.
The Principal, Mr Rajan Gautam congratulated the alumni for the glorious years spent in the school and the milestones achieved by them in their lives. He also thanked thenr for taking out the time to come for the Alumni Meet and making this special event a grand success.
