Faridabad/ Alive News: The day is not so far when Faridabad city will remain in high security and 800 CCTV cameras will be keeping eye on the city’s movement round o’ clock. This initiative will not only reduce crime, but also provide information about traffic, accidents and garbage stored in the city.
After declaring the city under Smart City, several schemes are being implemented. Under the Smart City project, it is being planned to installed high quality based CCTV cameras on every major locations in the city, which will keep an eye on every activity that happens in the city round o’ clock. This initiative will prove helpful for the police department to nab antisocial elements, managing traffic and collecting data about stored garbage in many parts of the city.
This cameras will be linked with integrated command control centre that will installed by the Municipal Corporation Faridabad, whereby the staff appointed there will check all movement of the city round o clock, and immediate action would be taken if there is need. The 800 CCTV cameras are proposed to install under the amount Rs 234 crors which has been approved under Smart City scheme.
The city’s movement, sanitation and security arrangement will be easy after installing the cameras. The city’s people are requested to cooperate to make the city smart. This work is accepted to start in January.
