Workshop on “Digital Vigilance – A Shared Responsibility” Held at Jiva School

Faridabad/Alive News: A workshop on “Digital Vigilance – A Shared Responsibility” was organized at Jiva Public School, Sector 21B, Faridabad, on 31 October 2025 by Punjab National Bank (PNB). The aim of the program was to create awareness among students and citizens about safe digital banking practices and precautions against online fraud in today’s digital world.

As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week being observed by PNB from 27 October to 2 November 2025, several awareness programs are being conducted to promote honesty, transparency, and vigilance. Under this initiative, a debate and speech competition on the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility” was also held at the school.

The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony and was attended by Mr. Vijendra Singh (Circle Head, Gurugram), Mr. Rahul Pandey (AGM), and Mr. Vivek Jha (Branch Manager). The school’s Chairman Shri Rishipal Chauhan, Director Mrs. Chandralata Chauhan, and Senior Coordinator Ms. Lipika Kaushik welcomed the guests and encouraged the students.

Students actively participated in the speech competition and presented a short skit on digital vigilance and cyber safety, which was highly appreciated by everyone.

Winners of the Speech Competition: 1st Position: Tanvi Kathuria (Class IX), 2nd Position: Yashika (Class XI) and at 3rd Position: Lavanya (Class VIII). While presenting the awards, Mr. Vijendra Singh praised the school management for its cooperation and the disciplined environment at Jiva Public School. He also shared useful tips on digital security and safe online behavior.

Chairman Rishipal Chauhan concluded by reminding everyone that vigilance is important not only in digital life but in all aspects of living. He said that the Jiva Learning System is dedicated to developing awareness, knowledge, and responsible behavior among its students.
