Tributes paid to JRD Satyarthi

Delhi/ Alive News: Glorious tributes were paid to Rev JRD ‘Satyarthi’, President Sant Nirankari Mandal and Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation at a special congregation held here last evening in the benign presence of Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Maharaj. Rev ‘Satyarthi’ breathed his last on January 29. He was 86.
Complimenting ‘Satyarthi’ for his contribution to the Sant Nirankari Mission, Her Holiness said that he will always remain a great source of inspiration for generations to come. He knew the Mission so thoroughly that he was the answer to every problem. He would remove the doubt, wherever it existed. Her Holiness said that he accompanied during most of the spiritual tours of Baba Hardev Singh Maharaj. He took care for everybody first and himself the last.


The prominent speakers who paid tributes to Rev ‘Satyarthi’ included Rev K.R. Chadha, Vice-Chairman Central Planning and Advisory Board, Rev Raj Vasdev Singh, Member Incharge, Prachar Vibhag, Rev Kirpa Sagar, Member Incharge Press and Publicity, Internet and Publications, Rev H.S. Chawla, Zonal Incharge Ludhiana and Rev H.S. Upashak from U.K.
Rev ‘Satyarthi’ was remembered as a great scholar, preacher and writer of the Mission. He lived quite close to Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh, Baba Gurbachan Singh and Baba Hardev Singh and presently Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Maharaj. He understood their message thoroughly and shared all his experience along with their thoughts and teachings in the form of books such as ‘Andhkar Se Prakash Ki Or’, ‘Shahenshah’, ‘Jeevant Shikshak’ and ‘Gurudev Hardev’. Rev ‘Satyarthi’ also wrote two books on Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur – ‘Kulwant’ and ‘Maa Tujhe Salam’. Every speaker admired Rev Satyarthi for his service and sacrifice for the Mission. He always preferred the service to Mission to any other responsibility.
The congregation was attended by thousands of devotees not only from Delhi and Greater Delhi but many other parts of the country also. Besides Holy Sisters Naranjan, Mohini Ahuja and Bindiya Chhabra, Rev Sukhdev from Amritsar, all from Guru Parivar, almost all the members of the Central Planning and Advisory Board (CP&AB), Executive Committee, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) and Central Sewadal Adhikaris, several Zonal Incharges and other leading saints were present.
