Tiny Tots Shine at “Vividha 2.0 – Rang-e-Bharat” Annual Function in Faridabad

Faridabad/Alive News: The kindergarten students of DAV Gian Prakash Chopra Public School, Sector 49, Faridabad impressed everyone with their colourful performances at the Annual Function titled “Vividha 2.0 – Rang-e-Bharat”, held in the school auditorium on Saturday.

The programme celebrated the rich cultural diversity of India and featured lively performances by the tiny tots. The event began with a prayer to seek blessings, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. School Principal Rajan Gautam welcomed the guests and honoured them with potted plants as a mark of respect.

The Chief Guest for the event was Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Kumar Handa, Principal Director of IMT Faridabad and Director of the Institute of Law & Research, Faridabad. The function was also presided over by the Founder Principal, Ms. Neelam Bhalla.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest praised the efforts of the Principal and teachers for organising such a vibrant programme. He said that cooperation between students, teachers and parents plays an important role in the overall development of children and appreciated the school for giving students meaningful exposure.

The cultural programme was the main highlight of the event. The tiny performers presented dances based on the folk traditions of different Indian states. These included Goa Carnival, Bhangra of Punjab, Jive of Haryana, Lavani of Maharashtra, dances from Southern India, Himalayan Naati, Chhattisgarh folk and Ghoomar of Rajasthan. The energetic performances by the young students received huge applause from the audience.

Principal Rajan Gautam also addressed the parents and encouraged them to spend more quality time with their children. He said that the love and attention given to children today will help build strong relationships in the future. He also shared that the school has introduced a toy train for kindergarten students to make their learning environment more joyful.

He appreciated the teachers for their dedication and the personal attention they give to every child. He also mentioned that many parents were happy that the school had started its new academic session early in March.

The event ended with a vote of thanks, followed by the Shanti Path and the National Anthem. The audience gave a standing ovation to the little performers, making the programme a memorable success.
