Faridabad/ Alive News : Students of YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad viewed the live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech from from Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a students’ convention to mark the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago address at the World’s Parliament of Religion in 1893.
The theme of the address was “Young India, New India – A Resurgent Nation: from Sankalp to Sidhhi”. The address was focused on Vivekananda’s teaching in the present day context. He also spoke about importance of cleanliness. The day also marks the centenary celebrations of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar also viewed the live telecast of Prime Minister’s speech and highly appreciated his views. The University had made all the necessary arrangements at different places in the University to show the live telecast of Prime Minister’s address. Students took keen interest in hearing the Prime Minister’s speech, and appreciated the Prime Minister’s vision of making a New India.
