Faridabad/Alive News : Faridabad Model School, Sector-31 Faridabad, arranged a field trip to the nearby HDFC Bank and Canara Bank on August 20, 2024. Class IV students went to the bank to observe how things are run there. The children showed great enthusiasm when they saw how bank staff performed their duties.
The bank personnel extended a cordial welcome to the students, and the Deputy Manager seized the opportunity to acquaint them with her team, which included the Teller, Relationship Manager, Sales Development Manager, Branch Operation Manager, and Officer responsible for managing loans.
The process for making cash deposits and withdrawals, the function of cheque drop boxes, a demonstration of passbook printers, and how to remove cash from ATMs were all described. The bank staff attempted to adequately answer all the students’ questions and gave a detailed description of how each department functions. The kids were eager to learn and were overjoyed at the opportunity to see how a bank functions. For the most part, they found it to be a worthwhile and satisfying experience.
