Faridabad/Alive News: sport develops a sense of friendliness among the children and develops their team spirit. It helps children to develop mental and physical toughness keeping this thought in mind Manav Sanskar Public School Organised a two day sports meet on 11th and 14 th November.
The arrangements started weeks prior to the actual event starting with students practicing during school hours. The class teachers and sports teachers ensured 100 percent participation of the students. The playground is prepared beforehand for the event. The event is separated for the junior and the senior school children as it took place on two different days.
The program started with the torch relay by the sports captains of the four houses namely- Mercury, Uranus, Saturn, and Earth. Grades nursery to 10 participated in various sport like banana race the sprints, sack race, lemon race, zig- zag jumping race, ludo, carrom, badminton and Kho-Kho. Games like Kabaddi and a tug- of- war between the houses adds to the enjoyment.
School chairman Yogesh Sharma and Principal Rama Kaul guided and advised everyone to arrange these kinds of events in the school to mark unity among thr students. He encouraged the students to be disciplined in every field of lif e & learn lessons of teamwork, dedication towards target, hard work, joy of caring and sharing by participating in sports.
