Faridabad/Alive News: The Vice-Chancellor of JC Bose University of Science and Technology Prof. S.K. Tomar today said that preserving nature is deep-rooted in our culture. There are hundreds of trees that are considered sacred and we should uphold this culture to preserve nature.
Tomar was addressing the month-long Plantation Campaign which was organized by the University as a part of ‘Hariyali Parv’. Well known social worker and the chairman of Vishwa Prakash Mission Charitable Trust, Sh. Rakesh Sethi was Chief Guest in the program.
Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg, Director, Youth Welfare Dr. Pradeep Dimri, Chairperson (Incharge) Environmental Engineering Dr. Renuka Gupta, Deputy Dean Dr. Anuradha Pillai and Dr. Harish Kumar and other members of DSW office and Vasundhara ECO Club were present on this occasion.
Tomar appreciated the efforts made by Sh. Sethi and his mission for social cause. He said that the way Sh. Sethi has taken up a social cause and is working diligently for it and getting good results, similarly if we collectively participate to protect nature, we can make a big difference.
