Six new Chikungunya cases identified

Faridabad/ Alive News: Despite the relentless pursuit of the health department, viral fever could not be under control and epidemic extended in the area. According to a new report the suspected cases of chikungunya and dengue were around 200 and 220, respectively and still continue, but with these new 6 chikungunya cases reported on Tuesday, the district Malaria department had confirmed 30 dengue patients including 48 chikungunya and 110 malaria cases. The suspected cases of chikungunya and dengue are coming from private hospitals as well as the govt. hospital, which are being tested in the govt. laboratory.

Officials of the health dept. say that do not afraid from chikungunya and dengue, but should test your blood, so that actual condition may come fore.

“Gradually, chikungunya and dengue outbreak is declining. An awareness programme from the health dept. side is being driven. Free treatment facility is available in the govt. hospital. All suspected patients coming in the pvt. hospitals their blood are being tested in the govt. laboratory. Patient should take rest in fever after taking medicines advised by doctor.”
