Faridabad/ Alive News: To create interest among students about wonders of science, “Science week” was organised from November 13 to 18 in D.A.V Public School, NH3, Faridabad. It was a way to explore the hidden talent of the budding scientists and provide a platform to showcase their scientific temperament. D.A.V witnessed a variety of activities including Science Quiz, Plantation day, Nature walk, Group discussions, ‘Art of self healing’ demonstrations.
The week was concluded with an exhibition- where students of IX – XII presented various experiments and the products they created throughout the week. All in all there were thirty five amazing exhibits and some of them are- cosmetics and body care products, self designed R.O system, Steam generator, air purifier, room heater, vacuum cleaner, science magic through reflection and refraction, laser light alarm, walking water, golden rain, bio diesel, fighting robot and sujok therapy.
It turned out to be a successful event as many parents appreciated the hard work behind the exhibits of students. The enthusiasm of the students was well admired by the Principal, Jyoti Dahiya. She encouraged their spirit and motivated the teachers to come up with such innovative ideas time and again.
