Faridabad/ Alive News: In furtherance of Zug- Zug Zio (live long) daughter campaign and mission to strengthen women empowerment, Sarvodya Hospital, Sector-8 has started an initiative in this regard, under this about 50 women made breast mammography test free of cost done under the hospital courtyard here today. The initiative concerned to diagnose breast cancer in its early stage, because family and society will remain health if daughter be healthy.
Be aware that, Sarvodaya Hospital has kept the foundation of effort of women empowerment by doing free 25 baby delivery on its 25th anniversary and now it is the second step in the campaign.
Actually, a meeting over an awareness of breast cancer and its related information was conducted for those women who have done mammography at the hospital. During this, cancer specialist of the hospital, Dr Sumant Gupta said it is guessed through its impact that now cancer has become a leading cause of death in the world and awareness and check up at regular intervals is a big weapon to fight against it. He further said around 25 lakh people in India are suffering from cancer today. Highlighting the importance of breast cancer screening, he said women should checkup breast herself at least one a month and just contact to doctor if she feels any lump in the breast.
