Faridabad/Alive News: Sahil Kaushik, a first year postgraduate student in journalism in the media department of J.C. Bose University YMCA Faridabad and a resident of Hisar, has become the winner of the district level youth parliament. Sahil Kaushik presented his views on the topic of ‘one nation one election’ in the youth parliament organized on March 22 at Government College Hisar.
A total of 150 participants from Hisar, Sirsa and Fatehabad participated in it. On this achievement of Sahil, Vice Chancellor of J.C. Bose University Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar said in his congratulatory message that this is a matter of pride for the university. He wished Sahil Kaushik a bright future and congratulated him. Professor Pawan Singh, Chairperson of the Department of Communication and Media Technology, while congratulating, motivated and guided Sahil Kaushik for the next stage of the competition.
Sahil Kaushik, while sharing his views on the subject of ‘One Nation One Election’, said that Lok Sabha and Assembly elections should be held simultaneously in the country. This will benefit the country economically as well as in terms of resources. Development work gets affected due to the code of conduct imposed due to repeated elections.
‘One Nation One Election’ will prove to be a milestone in the path of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolution of Vikshit Bharat-2047. In this time of Amrit Kaal where every moment is very important, the country remains busy in the electoral process for an average of four months in a year. This process is not new. From 1951 to 1967, elections were held simultaneously in the country.
Today there is a need to revive the same process. With the achievement of these important points, India will once again sit on the throne of prosperity and will be called the world guru.
