Faridabad/ Alive News: Ryan International School Faridabad celebrated its graduation ceremony titled “ HAPPY BLESSINGS” on 18th February 2017. The theme given for the current year was WORLD OF HAPPINESS and the entire ceremony was woven around the theme. The programme began by seeking the blessings of the almighty with the Bible reading, special prayer and then with the soulful rendition to the almighty with the praise and worship songs. The little children of classes MII charmingly welcomed the guests in different regional languages. The cultural show was the main highlight of the whole programme. The whole show was about being grateful to the Almighty for the blessings he has bestowed on us and that which we take for granted. The story begins with one of the world’s famous journalist visiting this special school where the children are taught to be compassionate and also at the same time to be thankful to God for blessing them with sight, speech, the ability to listen and have hands and legs to work and move.
The Chairman of the school Dr A.F Pinto believes that the Montessori years in the life of our children are of utmost importance and when the children complete these formative years we as parents and teachers need to celebrate the occasion in a grand manner and wish the children luck on their onward educational journey. Keeping this vision of his in mind every year the graduation ceremony is celebrated with grandeur.
The Principal of the school takes the journalist through this happy journey of blessings. In the first item the blessing of sight makes us see the colourful world and then there is a message that to keep this world colourful and beautiful we must keep our earth clean. The children holding brooms and dancing away with the message of cleanliness is a heartwarming sight. Following this is the item depicting the blessing of sound because of which there is music in our life. The sweet sounds of various instruments are presented beautifully. The children handling instruments like the drums, the guitar, the flute, the mridangs and the tumbis is a treat. The blessing of speech is presented in a vibrant way through a Punjabi boliyan and bhangra presentation. The energy of the little ones puts the stage on fire and the parents could not hold themselves from applauding. The next item depicted the importance of hands by commending the helpers who make our work easy. The little children dressed as workmen holding hammers and paint brushes looked adoring. This item also made a reference to the girl power today. Then depicting the importance of legs there was a mesmerizing fusion dance later made humorous by depicting India going digital and cashless with a passing reference to demonetization. In the finale item the message given is that all these blessings are controlled by the heart that makes them do good for the society and how with these blessings we can make our lives happy beautiful and joyful. Confidence exhibited by the young speakers and the main characters of the play mesmerized the audience. The award ceremony where the children of not only the Montessori section but also from the primary section was an occasion of pride not only for the children but also for the parents and teachers. The children were appreciated in various fields and some of the coveted awards were the all rounder, the academic, the calligraphy, creative fingers, nimble feet and nightingale awards. The most prestigious and the crowning glory was the Ryan Prince and Ryan Princess award which were bagged by Naivedya Gupta and Navya
The principal Ms Anju Uppal not only lauded the children for their merits and hardwork but also appreciated and thanked the parents for their constant support. In her report she read out the achievements of the school for the current year and also told about the future vision of the school.
