Faridabad/Alive News: Rotary Club Aastha, Faridabad, launched the first phase of its flagship initiative, ‘Sukanya Samridhi Sankalp,’ at Faridabad Model School to promote girls’ education through financial assistance, counselling, and mentorship.
The programme aims to provide deserving girls with the support they need to continue their education. Along with financial aid, beneficiaries will receive regular counselling and guidance to boost their confidence, mental well-being, and decision-making skills.
The inaugural event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and members of Rotary Club Aastha. Club members Rtn. Umang Malik, Rtn. Neeraj Bhutani, Rtn. Gautam Malhotra, Rtn. Vidit Mittal, Rtn. Prateek Gupta, Rtn. Raj Bhatia, Rtn. Anmol Jindal, Rtn. Karun Gupta, Rtn. Ritesh Gupta, Mrs. Shreya Malik, Adv. Ruchi Gupta, and Dr. Dipti Gupta emphasized that empowering girls through education is essential for building a stronger and more inclusive society.
The club representatives said that ‘Sukanya Samridhi Sankalp’ is more than a financial assistance programme. It is a long-term initiative focused on the overall development of young girls through regular counselling sessions, motivational interactions, and mentorship from experienced professionals, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
The event concluded with Rotary Club Aastha reaffirming its commitment to expand the programme in the coming phases, enabling more deserving girls to benefit from educational support and mentorship while contributing to the development of an educated, confident, and empowered generation of young women.
