Refer ‘Bhagavad Gita’ for Crisis Management: VC Prof. Raj Kumar

Faridabad/Alive News : The Vice-Chancellor of Panjab University Prof Raj Kumar today urged the students to refer to ‘Bhagavad Gita’ for crisis management. He said that the Bhagavad Gita is the supportive base for Management Studies. The teachings of Lord Krishna give the best management practices in times of crisis.

Prof. Raj Kumar was addressing an interactive session with the faculty and students of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. He was the chief guest of the program. The session was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar. The program began with the lighting of the traditional lamp and Saraswati Vandana followed by the University’s Kulgeet.

A distinguished academician and educational administrator, Prof. Raj Kumar, who has been a professor at the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), remarked that the strategic location of J.C. Bose University has been a decisive factor in the contribution of technical education. He mentioned that opportunities always undermine challenges, and asked the University administration to keep the campus and the building as second priority and stress emphasis on the incubation centers.

Prof. Raj Kumar said that students should not be confined themselves to the four walls of their classrooms or the laboratory but they should go to areas of work and should get first-hand information and innovative ideas. He also motivated them to work on their innovative ideas in the incubation centers.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tomar presented his heartfelt gratitude towards Prof. Raj Kumar who happened to be his colleague earlier when he was commissioned at Panjab University. He extended his remarks over the futuristic MoU that was materialized today between J.C. Bose University and Panjab University.

On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, Dr. Ashutosh Nigam, gave a brief introduction about the department and highlighted the activities and achievements of the department. At the end of the program, Dr. Sapna Taneja, Assistant Professor, Management Studies, proposed a vote of thanks.
