Faridabad/Alive News: In order to bring efficiency to the administrative system, J.C. Bose University today organized a training program for its non-teaching employees on ‘Work-life Balance and Work Ethics’. The Program was conducted by the Department of Management Studies of the University.
Dean (Institution) Prof. Sandeep Grover was the chief guest in the inaugural session. The session was also addressed by the Registrar of the University Dr. S.K. Garg and the Registrar of Gurugram University Dr. Rajiv Kumar Singh. Earlier, the Dean of Management Studies Prof. Ashutosh Nigam, and Chairperson of Management Studies Dr. Rachna Agarwal welcomed the guest speakers.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Neha Goyal, Dr. Jyotsana Chawla, and Dr. Arti Gupta. The objective of the program was to develop a basic understanding of work-life balance among the employees so as to enable them to tackle work-life balance-related issues.
Addressing the program, Prof. Grover highlighted the importance of work-life balance in professional life. He discussed the famous Herzberg’s two-factor management theory on hygiene and motivation. He also presented his views on the role of motivational factors in the workplace.
