Police made FMS students aware about road safety

Faridabad/Alive News: Police made the students of FMS located in Sector-31 aware. SHO Yogesh Kataria and SI Umesh, who reached the school, were first welcomed very warmly by the school principal Umang Malik and other teachers.

The main objective of the police to reach the school was to promote road safety awareness. SHO Yogesh Kataria told the students that there has been an alarming increase in road accidents, due to negligence people’s lives are at stake. He stressed the importance of education and awareness to reduce road accidents and responsible driving can lead to a safe road environment for all. Programs such as community-driven campaigns, school workshops, and public service announcements can serve as essential tools in spreading awareness and changing behavior.

Yogesh Kataria said students were encouraged to report unsafe driving behavior and work with law enforcement to address road safety concerns. In the end, the teachers including school principal Umang Malik expressed their whole-hearted gratitude to the police team. He motivated the students to follow traffic rules. The students also took a pledge that they will follow the traffic rules.
