Petition canceled, MCF elections date announced anytime

Faridabad/ Alive News: Whatever, the petition over the municipal corporation of Faridabad elections filed in the High Court has been cancelled, but though the elections are not considered as an easy task. The appellant and former councillor Yogesh Dhingra has clearly said that he would approach to double bench in this regard.

Let me tell you, former senior deputy mayor Mukesh Sharma, former deputy mayor Rajender Bhamla and former councillor Yogesh Dhingra had filed a petition over the so-called patchwork in wardbandi, wardbandi in closed room and vote preparation in Haryana the High Court. Acting on the plea the court had issued several notices to Haryana govt. District administration and Municipal Corporation of Faridabad as well, similarly the court also imposed a stay on the elections, resulting the elections delayed. The judge of single bench of the High Court canceled the said petition on last Friday. The state govt. has engaged to conduct MCF elections after the petition canceled.

It has been told that date of MCF elections would be announced by the state election commission on the following Wednesday. But on the other side the applicant former councillor Yogesh Dhingra told the govt. wants to conduct elections avoiding to the irregularities for which he approached the High Court. He will file his petition before the double bench soon after reviewing orders of the single bench, he said.
