Faridabad/ Alive News: People protested in front of police post by putting dead body of a woman, alleging that police are showing negligence to nab the accused who had killed the woman for dowry. But the police later arrested her husband and then the victim’s relatives calm down. The incident came to light in Chauhan colony, Palla area of Faridabad, where Sajjan Jha resident of Mumbai got her daughter Preeti married with Sonu Jha in Chauhan colony about 4-year ago. It is accused that the in-laws’ people used to torture Preeti for dowry, resulting she was rushed to Metro hospital sector-16 in serious condition on December 20, where she dead in midnight.
According to Preeti’s cousin Gautam Jha, his sister has been assassinated by acid attack, which the doctor also accepted in her postmortem report. The victim’s family has alleged that the police did not take action against the accused even after the postmortem report come. Gautam accused a police man who did misbehave with Preeti’s mother on demanding of arrest the accused. Over this, people angered and staged protest in front of the police post, but later they calm down when Saray Police station in charge assured of action against the culprits.
