Orientation is an opportunity for the parents and students to get acclimated to the culture of the school – its rules and expectations – and get familiar with the faculty members.
Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, NH-3 NIT organized “PARICHAY THE MEET” for the students of class NUR. to II in the school auditorium on 5th April 2025 (Saturday). It was a sincere effort made by the school to familiarize them as partners in progress with the curriculum, rules and regulations, and scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the school principal, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya & Mrs. Mukta Puri (Supervisory head of Class Nur. to II) and esteemed parents of the students.
Welcoming the parents to the new academic session, Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya introduced the school team and spoke in detail about different ways of nurturing a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. She laid emphasis on a strong connection with the school patrons.
She even sought support and suggestions from the parents to provide the best education and growth opportunities to the children of the school and shared a few tips on good parenting.
Mrs. Mukta Puri also addressed the parents. She spoke about the rules and regulations of the school. She also discussed the co-scholastic activities & the changes in the curriculum according to NEP that gave the parents an idea that with hands-on learning activities not only give our students a medium to fully utilize their creative talents and energies, but also help them in their all-round development.
The beautiful performances enthralled the audience with their well choreographed dances. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem, and self-confidence.
Many fun filled activities like colour candy, Artshaala , Anuwaad adventure, and many more were organized for the parents to make them familiar with each other and to promote parental involvement. The learning outcomes of these activities were discussed.
Parents enjoyed it lot and appreciated it with a positive approach towards the school. The programme ended on a happy and satisfied note with an aim of helping our children grow into happy, skilful, and creative personality.
