Faridabad/ Alive News: The District Police Commissioner, Dr Hanif Qureshi taking strict action against two wheelers riders has asked the filling station owners not to give petrol to the riders who do not apply helmet while riding bike. This initiative will be formed from August 1 to 15 across the district. The commissioner while addressing his colleagues’ officers instructed them to ensure this an initiative in their respective areas.
Dr. Hanif Qureshi briefing the mediapersons said that this initiative has been taken on the order of Haryana Director General of Police.
The campaign will be started today with the cooperation of the filling station owners. Dr Qureshi said the campaign is to curb accident which takes place often without wearing helmet while riding bike. The commissioner appealed all vehicle drivers to follow the traffic rules. Drive in their respective lane to avoid traffic jam and cooperate Faridabad police to make the campaign success, he added.
