New Edition of ‘Handmade wallpaper’ Released by Media Students

Faridabad/Alive News: A handmade wallpaper by first-year postgraduate students of journalism was released at the Media Department of J.C. Bose University YMCA. The event was attended by the Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Prof. Vijay Kumar, as the chief guest, along with Head of Department Prof. Pawan Singh, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Production Assistant Pankaj Saini, Anju Singh, and the student editorial team members, including Dhiren Singh, Anjali, Pooja Sarot, and Mohisha.

All the guests praised the ‘handmade wallpaper’ prepared by the media students and wished them a bright future, encouraging them to practice regularly. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vijay Kumar congratulated the students and said that the ‘handmade wallpaper’ reflects the creativity of media students. He added that continuous practice leads to both creativity and proficiency. He wholeheartedly praised everyone’s creativity, news selection style, and page layout, and encouraged them to do even better work in the future.

Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Singh, HOD of CMT, said that the ‘handmade wallpaper’ reflects the quality of academic training in journalism. He emphasized that regular practice is essential for this. He mentioned that the purpose of the ‘handmade wallpaper,’ prepared under the supervision of Production Assistant Anju Singh, is to mentally prepare media students for designing newspapers. This allows students to prepare themselves for the task before directly working on the software. The entire process of the ‘handmade newspaper’ is a better alternative for operating ‘paper’ designing software.

Production Assistant Anju Singh informed that in the process of creating the ‘handmade wallpaper,’ first-year MAJMC students Dhiren, Anjali, Mohisha, and Aman Rajput prepared a newspaper named Khel Jagran (Sports Awakening). The newspaper Manoranjan Mirror (Entertainment Mirror) was created by Pooja Sorot, Gargi, and Sanjana.
