Faridabad/ Alive News: The management of railway station of Faridabad will be in hands of the multinational company very soon. This company will care of all arrangement on the station along with providing modern facilities to the passengers and the facility manager will be appointed for this. Tender has been issued for appointment of the facility manager. Every day new schemes are being formed from the railway ministry to provide better facilities to the passengers.
In the series, the multinational company who receives the tender will be allotted Faridabad railway station at Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode for 45-years. Under this, decision has been taken to appoint facility manager. The facility manager will have responsibilities to provide all type of facilities as Escalators on station, Modern Toilets, AC rooms, Coach Indicators and Cleanliness. The contractual company will have to deposit Rs. 70 crores in the form of security money to the railway under the lease period. The railway department will only monitor any activity.
