MRIU commemorates third founder Day

Faridabad:  Manav Rachna Educational Institutions will commemorate Third Founder’s Day with a Project Carnival presenting a unique display of Science, Technology and Art Exhibitions among a blitzkrieg of other events. The aim of the Project Carnival would be to showcase the strength and skills of the students in the area of designing besides bringing to light their practical knowledge in tackling everyday problems.

Expressing his happiness at the dedication and effort of the students and Faculty members in putting together the Project Carnival, Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI, said, “Manav Rachna has encouraged its students from Schools, Colleges and Universities to implement innovative ideas and develop projects focusing on solutions relevant to education, health, economic development, communication, disaster management, environment and the like. Their ideas and innovations are the result of the consistent mentoring support they receive from their teachers and Faculty members. It is through them that the spirit of innovation lives on at Manav Rachna, bringing to fruition our Founding Father’s dreams and vision of the future.”

The Carnival will be inaugurated by Smt Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI on April 4, 2016.There would be eight categories at the Carnival such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Life Sciences Energy and Environment, Healthcare, Civil and Architecture, Science, Art and culture. As many as 111 projects will be on display put together by 350 students from different disciplines of Manav Rachna International University, Manav Rachna University, Manav Rachna Dental College, Manav Rachna College of Education and schools of Manav Rachna Group.

The wide array of Projects will find pride of place in the A Block Hall of Fame at the Campus, Library, Computer Labs, Electrical Labs and 6 class rooms. A cultural event will also be organized on the same day. The projects at the Carnival will be adjudged by expert jury members from the industry. They will evaluate projects in each category. The winners of the projects will be awarded with cash prizes and certificates.
