Faridabad/ Alive News: Some miscreants only beaten up a journalist because he refused people to burn firecrackers on Diwali festival. They badly beaten up the journalist, resulting he was rushed to the civil hospital due to injuries. Any legal action yet to be taken till the news was written in this regard.
The incident came to light on the eve of Diwali festival, when the journalist Vijender Sharma resident of Nangla Enclave part-II refused some youths not to burn firecrackers at around 11 pm, but the youths instead of avoiding to burn firecrackers, they entered in the journalist’s house and attacked him and his wife with stick and iron. The youths ran away from there. The neighbours hearing voice of the victims went his house and rushed them to the civil hospital.
One side where the Supreme Court has banned on firecrackers and campaign is being driven to save environment from pollution, for which many organizations including social workers and volunteers took out awareness rally for avoiding Chinese products as crackers, ladi (Electric lights) and toys on the eve of Diwali, But ignoring the court orders they thrashed the journalist. However, any legal action yet to be taken till the news was written in this regard.
