Faridabad/ Alive News: The spectacular celebration of Lohri, the traditional festival of India held at Vasundhara. The young students got to know the old tales, associated with the festival. The drum beats and bonfire made everyone a part of this musical evening. It was indeed irresistible for all. The commencement of the celebration held with the welcome of the Chief guest, Sajjan, the Mentor of Satyug Darshan Trust, accompanied by Rashma Gandhi, the Managing Trustee of Satyug Darshan Trust, escorted by Kailash Dhingra, the Chairman of the school and the Principal of the school, R.K. Sharma.
An incredulous welcome dance performance was followed by the short speech, delivered by Ishita of class 12th. She articulated by focusing upon the history and significance of the festival. The students of the Primary wing too lent their fullest co-operation with their amazing dance performance. The audience applauded an astonishing short discussion, made by Anoop of Class 8th and Srishty of class 7th. A scintillating dance performance of the senior girls won all admiration. In order to apprise the people regarding humanity and ethos, a short but message – bearing poem on Humanity was recited by Pooja Solanki of class 12th. Amrit and Hanumant of class 12th proved their dexterity with the inspiring words on humanity. The girls of the Primary wing presented Kathak dance and Satsang dance that enthralled all the viewers.
The programme came to an end with the blessings of Sajjan. He blessed all and wished for the happiness and prosperity of all the residents as well as staff members. The Chairman of the school blessed all and also wished the audience on account of Lohri festival. The vote of thanks was given by R.K. Sharma, the Principal of the school.
