Faridabad/ Alive News: Homerton Grammar School, Faridabad organised the Inter-Play School Sports Competition on 17th September with great enthusiasm and zeal. During this, more than 250 little children between age groups 2 to 5 years from 20 renowned play schools participated in the sports event. The Principal of the school Mrs. Archana Dogra welcomed the parents and the principals of these Play Schools.
The tiny tots of the play schools looked absolutely stunning dressed up in their colourful athlete jerseys. The wonderful artistic creations of the students of the school gave a festive look to the sports event. The programme began with a lively interaction with the parents wherein parents actively shared their cherished experiences with their kids and were very generous with their advises to the youth today.
The pre-nursery toddlers of two years of age competed in ‘Animal Race’ and ‘Little Heart Biscuit Race’. While the three year old nursery athletes participated in ‘Pack the Bag Race’ and ‘Pick and Run Race’, the four year old KG kids sprinted for the ‘Relay’ and ‘Basket Block Race’. The kids participated with great enthusiasm and vigour.
A glimpse of the setup, functioning, curricular and co-curricular activities and the philosophy of the School was given through a comprehensive presentation.
Meanwhile, the athletes of the day were awarded with prizes, certificates and medals. This was the day with a difference which brought spontaneous smile on the face of both the parents and their children.
