Faridabad/Alive News: Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar, Vice-Chancellor of J.C. Bose University, YMCA, Faridabad, honored Santosh Kumar Agarwal, a pioneer in kickboxing and an international coach on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee year of the establishment of the ‘Haryana Kickboxing Association’.
Prof. Tomar presented a shawl and a memento to the association’s founding Secretary General and incumbent National President of the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation, Santosh Kumar Agarwal. Extending his best wishes for a bright future, Tomar congratulated and wished Agarwal well. Agarwal also invited the university’s Sanchaar club team to the 4th Wako India Open International Kickboxing Tournament which is to be held in Delhi from 1st to 5th February, 2025.
Santosh Kumar Agarwal, the National President of the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation, expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and the J.C. Bose University’s administration for the honour. Agarwal said that the students of the university’s media department and Sanchaar club’s support all their national and international competitions.
They perform all media-related tasks such as photography, videography, editing, press releases and social media management with full dedication. The credit for this goes to Vice-Chancellor, Prof. S.K. Tomar and Head of the Department, Dr. Pawan Singh.
Dr. Pawan Singh, Head of the Department of Communication and Media Technology at J.C. Bose University, said that it was a matter of pride and honour that kickboxing, which was started in Faridabad, is currently illuminating its name in Haryana and in turn, India’s on the world stage.
Dr. Pawan Singh congratulated Santosh Agarwal for completing its silver jubilee journey of kickboxing. Senior Instructor Dushyant Tyagi and media students- Hemant Sharma, Dhiren Singh, Vistrit Gupta, Krishna Kumar and Vandana, were present on this occasion on behalf of the Media department’s Sanchaar club.
