Karate Tournament held in Modern Convent School

Karate is an art of self defense: Sapna Mishra

Faridabad/ Alive News: To make its identity at the state level in Karate championship, Modern Convent School, Sector-46, Faridabad held a tournament under the banner of Faridabad Sports Karate Association in its courtyard here on April 9, 2017. In the tournament, about 100 participants across the district participated and showed their talents.

The purpose of the tournament was to select the best players for the state tournament. Definitely, the players showed their best performance in the tournament and presented their claims for the state level. Interestingly, the girl players took part in the tournament and made their place to play state level tournament.

The students who selected for the state level tournament were Mukesh Solanki, Jagdish, Paras, Ronald, Om Baisla, Anuj, Rajan, Bhargava, Kartik, Bhumika, Manvi, Ritika, Dimpal, Vaisanavi, Ansh and Rajat. All these children are from Modern Convent School including DAV School, Ballabgarh, Grand Columbus School, Sector-16, Govt. School, Sector-22, Govt. School, 3 Number, Karate Self Defense Academy and many others.

However, the school Managing Director, Sapna Mishra congratulating to the children said motive of this art is to teach the children about self defense, so that they can face any circumstances. She said that the children did best performance in the tournament and have full hope that they would bring laurels for their respective schools and parents.

During this, Ranjana Saxena, Aruna Sarkar, Deepti Aggarwal, Sachin, Milli Dutta, Amresh Kumar Singh, Salman Ali, Amresh Singh, B.B Rana, Sudhir Verma and school staff were present on the occasion.
