Junaid massacre: one accused arrested

Faridabad/ Alive News: One accused of Junaid massacre has been arrested on Saturday while the rest are yet out of reach of the police. This is being told not a case of beef.

Significantly, on Thursday late night, Junaid along with his three friends, Hashim, Shakir Mohsin and Moin, native of Khandawali village of Ballabgarh were returning from Delhi after marketing of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival in an EMU train which was bound to Mathura from New Delhi railway station.

Four people boarded the train at Tughlaqabad Station. They began to argue with them over the seat. When Mohsin and his colleague opposed it the youths started to fight with them by accusing them to eat beef. The victim Mohsin was killed and his friends were also injured in the incident. One accused has been taken into custody, but his identity yet to be disclosed by the police. SP of GRP, Kamaldeep Goyal says the fight started in the train with seat, which took bigger form. There was no issue like beef, but some people tried to give it the colour of communalism. He said adequate security would be made in trains.
