Jiva Public School Students Excel in Culinary and MUN Competitions

Faridabad/Alive News: Jiva Public School proudly celebrates the achievements of its students, who recently brought acclaim to the school through their outstanding performances in two major events the Budding Chef Competition and the Model United Nations (MUN).

In the Budding Chef Competition organized by Vedatya Institute, Gurugram, students Kanishka and Dishita impressed the judges with their creativity, teamwork, and culinary skills. Their delicious dishes and innovative presentations earned them Second Place, along with certificates, medals, a trophy, and vouchers worth rupees thousand.

Adding to the school’s achievements, Jiva students also showcased leadership, diplomacy, and communication skills at the Model United Nations (MUN), organized by the Jiva Interact Club in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of IGTDUW. The event provided a platform for students to discuss global issues, improve their reasoning, and learn about international relations.

The MUN training session was held on 30th September, followed by the main event on 3rd October 2025. Three key committees WHO, UNGA, and UNHRC conducted discussions and policy deliberations on important world issues.

Outstanding participants included: Yashvi Khurana (Class IX) – Best Delegate (WHO Committee), awarded 500 rupee, Samaira Raina (Class IX) – Special Mention for eloquence and confidence, awarded 200 rupee and Vansh Goyal (Class VIII) – Recognized for outstanding performance and analytical skills. Students who received Certificates of Participation were Turvi Malhotra, Namrata Singh, Cheshta, Avika Srivastava, Ananya, Shreya, and Vanshika for their active involvement.

Vibhor Dhingra, Secretary of the Jiva Interact Club, was honored with the Fantastic Collaborator Certificate, and Mrs. Poonam Chauhan, History teacher, received the Fantastic Rapporteur Award for her dedication and coordination.

Congratulating the achievers, Rishipal Chauhan, Chairman of Jiva Public School, praised the students and said their success reflects the effectiveness of the Jiva Learning System, which focuses on holistic and experiential education. Mrs. Chandralata Chauhan, School Director, and Mrs. Mukta Sachdev, Academic and Excellence Head, also extended their best wishes for the students’ bright future.
