JC Bose University student honored with Lala Hardayal Mathur Award

Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Poorvika, a dedicated student pursuing M.Tech (VLSI) at Bose University of Science and Technology, has been awarded the Lala Har Dayal Mathur Award for her outstanding achievements in the field of education. In-depth knowledge of sports, and heritage of India.

The award, which consists of a citation and a cash prize of Rs 11,000, was presented by the founder of the award, Dr. Satish Bhatnagar, along with Vice-Chancellor Prof. In the esteemed presence of Sushil Kumar Tomar, Purvika was awarded. The felicitation ceremony was organized by the Faculty of Science and Life Sciences. Selection for the award was made by Dean (Science) Prof. It was based on the recommendations of the university’s selection committee led by Neetu Gupta and Dean (Life Sciences) Prof. Anuradha Sharma. Dean (Management Studies) Prof. Ashutosh Nigam, Chairman of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Arvind Gupta, Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairman of Communication and Media Technology, Dr. Sonia, Chairman of Physics and other respected faculty members graced the occasion.

The Lala Har Dayal Mathur Award, established by Dr. Satish C. Bhatnagar, Professor of Mathematics at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, USA, pays tribute to the legacy of Lala Har Dayal Mathur (1884–1939), an Indian nationalist revolutionary. The freedom fighter is known for his versatility and strong commitment to India’s independence. Dr. Bhatnagar’s inspiration stems from the multifaceted contribution of Lala Har Dayal Mathur, who decided to leave his career in the Indian Civil Service. Vice Chancellor Professor Sushil Kumar Tomar commended Ms. Poorvika for her remarkable achievements and expressed his gratitude to Professor Bhatnagar for instituting this prestigious award to honor exceptional individuals like Poorvika.
